Do I need to submit new paperwork for the new decals?
If you currently have an RFID, no paperwork will be needed. For every active RFID that is in HOA records, a new decal will be issued.

What if I do not have an RFID but need a new decal?
Having an RFID for every resident vehicle is a must. To rectify this asap. Please visit summitestates.org “RFID-DECAL”page to begin this process. Please submit your request form electronically along with the appropriate vehicle registration(s). Once submitted, management will confirm receipt and advise when you may drive to the guard house to have the sticker installed on your vehicle. Please be advised that the gate guard is the only entity authorized to install the RFID on your vehicle.

What to do if you have the old sticker?
Please remove the sticker as it will be invalid as of July 1, 2024.

Proper procedure/best practice on how to remove the old sticker.
Spray WD-40 on the remaining sticker pieces and residue and wait a few minutes. Wipe away the spray with a damp cloth. Hold a pack of ice to the sticker for a few minutes to cool off the adhesive and make it easier to peel away.

What if you cannot make either of the days of distribution?
Additional dates will be scheduled and communicated via email

Is the homeowner required to come and obtain the new decals?
It is preferred to have the homeowner come and obtain the new decals. However, if they cannot come personally, one of the members of the household can show their ID and obtain the decals for the homeowner and sign on their behalf.
